Mandarin Oriental Will Open the First Hotel in Lake Como

In spring 2019, lovers of Lake Como were delighted to welcome the great opening of the five-star hotel Castadiva Resort & SPA under the new brand Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como.

In mid-2018, the Hong Kong group Mandarin Oriental clinched the deal on acquisition of Castadiva Resort & SPA, the most romantic hotel at Lake Como.

Currently, the hotel is being rebranded and reconstructed to meet the Mandarin Oriental chain standards. The new owners hope to turn this place into one of the most exclusive luxury hotels in Italy.

They have already changed the name. Tourists can enjoy magnificent views of Lake Como from practically every room, the historic garden, as well as 76 spacious rooms in nine villas dating from the 19th century. In addition, Mandarin Oriental guests will also benefit from restaurants, a bar, and a modern SPA with indoor and outdoor pools.
