For the first time, Villa d’Este Golf Club has been crowned the ‘Best Golf Club in Italy’ at the prestigious Leading Courses Golfers’ Choice Awards 2024. This accolade, presented by a globally active community dedicated to the world of golf, is a testament to the club’s unwavering commitment to excellence.
The accolade was awarded following a rigorous evaluation process that considered various aspects, including the quality of the golf course (design, turf condition, green maintenance, difficulty, and course variety) and the professionalism of the staff (hospitality, staff competence, service quality both on the course and in the clubhouse, and overall courtesy).

Circolo Golf Villa d’Este, one of Italy’s oldest and most prestigious clubs, boasts an 18-hole course featuring carefully designed natural obstacles and a driving range with outdoor and indoor facilities. Opened in 1926 near Montorfano, in the province of Como, Circolo Golf Villa d’Este is Italy’s seventh-oldest golf club and certainly one of the most recognized in the world. It has always been the stage for the most prestigious national and international tournaments and still holds the record as the Italian Club with the highest number of Italian Open editions played: 12 since 1928.
