Como Chef Table: Convivial Dinners with Lake Como Chefs

The start of January 2025 brings a thrilling new gastronomic experience to Hilton Lake Como, the stylish lifestyle hotel beautifully situated along the stunning shores of Lake Como. The hotel is set to debut an innovative culinary event, the Como Chef Table, promising to captivate food enthusiasts with its exclusive offerings. From January to March 2025, the Satin restaurant will host the Como Chef Table, a series of exclusive culinary events featuring some of the region’s most renowned chefs. Each event promises a unique dining experience with a five-course tasting menu complemented by selections of fine wines.

A Convergence of Culinary Excellence

The Como Chef Table concept is a collaboration led by Executive Chef Stefano Ghielmetti, who will welcome prominent chefs from the Como area every Monday starting January 20. These themed dinners will celebrate creativity and conviviality, showcasing a menu designed to honour each guest chef’s traditions and distinctive dishes. Diners will embark on a flavourful journey through the rich regional Italian culinary landscape.

The contemporary and exclusive ambience of the Satin restaurant will serve as the perfect backdrop for these events. The central table will transform into the evening’s focal point, with chefs preparing and plating dishes in front of guests, creating an intimate and interactive atmosphere that makes each dinner a truly unforgettable experience.

The Como Chef Table offers an intimate setting with just 16 seats, promoting a warm and convivial experience for all attendees.

Among the first guest chefs will be culinary luminaries such as Federico Beretta of Feel Como, Franco Caffara from I Tigli (the first chef who gained a Michelin-star in Lake Como), and Carlo Molon of Terrazza Olmo, who will infuse their creativity into these special nights.

  • January 27: “Flavours of the Forest” with Chef Federico Beretta of Feel Como – A tribute to the nature surrounding Lake Como, featuring game flavours.
  • February 10: “Satin Meets Terrazza 241” with Mixologist Ludmila Samohin & Executive Sous Chef Eduardo Benintende – A tasting menu paired with a variety of gins and cocktails, highlighting aromatic and botanical flavours.
  • February 17: “Shades of the Lake” with Chef Francesco Cranchi – Authentic flavours of Lake Como reimagined with a modern twist.
  • March 3: “Under the Stars” with Chef Franco Caffara – A refined and visually appealing menu presented in a minimalist style.
  • March 10: “Tapas & Flavours” with Chef Danilo Vella of Bottega Comacini – A celebration of tradition and creativity through Mediterranean-inspired tapas.
  • March 17: “A Tribute to Lombardy” with Chef Paolo Ghirardi of Cotoliamo at Hilton Milan – A culinary exploration of Lombardy, focusing on iconic regional ingredients.
  • March 24: “Gourmet on the Go” with Chef Yuri Alù of Latteria San Fedele and Chef Sedat Aydilek of Fish Bar – An elevated culinary experience reinterpreting the vibrant flavours of street food in a fine dining context.
  • March 31: “Nature on the Plate” with Chef Andrea Cimino of Sheraton Lake Como – A sustainable menu made with fresh, seasonal ingredients, focusing on organic plant-based options.
