Miniartextil, the annual historical, contemporary art event in Como, has officially opened to the public for its thirtieth edition. This year the artworks installations set up in four spaces: Pinacoteca Civica, Padiglione ex Grossisti Mercato Coperto, Palazzo del Broletto and Villa Olmo.

Miniartextil is one of the most important and internationally recognized events for artists working with Textile Art or Fiber Art. This area of contemporary art incorporates ancient textile notions with revolutionary techniques, new patterns and materials.

Started in Como in 1991, Miniartextil has grown beyond the national borders over the years and become a protagonist in several Italian and foreign cities.
