Miniartextil Art Exhibition Has Opened to the Public
Miniartextil, the annual historical, contemporary art event in Como, has officially opened to the public for its thirtieth edition. This year the artworks installations set up in four spaces: Pinacoteca Civica, Padiglione ex Grossisti Mercato Coperto, Palazzo del Broletto and Villa Olmo.
Miniartextil is one of the most important and internationally recognized events for artists working with Textile Art or Fiber Art. This area of contemporary art incorporates ancient textile notions with revolutionary techniques, new patterns and materials.
Started in Como in 1991, Miniartextil has grown beyond the national borders over the years and become a protagonist in several Italian and foreign cities.
The exhibition has been hosted in France in Montrouge-Paris, in Venice, and expands its horizons in Spain, Germany and the United States.
The thirtieth edition of Miniartextil will occur in Como from 26 April 2021 to 18 July 2021.

Exhibitions are open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
Padiglione ex Grossisti del Mercato Coperto will be open from Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm.
On Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
