Villa Làrio’s Restaurant Villa Bianca Awarded Two Forks by Gambero Rosso
Villa Bianca, the restaurant of Villa Làrio, a luxury property overlooking Lake Como in Pognana Lario, has been awarded two Forks in the prestigious Gambero Rosso Ristoranti d’Italia 2026 guide — marking its debut in Italy’s most respected culinary ranking.
Led by Chef Davide Maci, the Como-born chef renowned for his elegant yet heartfelt approach to Italian cuisine, Villa Bianca earned the distinction for its refined interpretation of local ingredients and its dedication to authenticity and convivial dining. The recognition represents a significant milestone for both the chef and the property, confirming Villa Làrio’s growing status as a fine dining destination on Lake Como.

The announcement follows another major accolade: the MICHELIN Guide Italy 2025 recently reconfirmed Villa Làrio’s One Key, recognising its excellence in Italian hospitality, architectural harmony and discreet luxury.
Nestled among the terraced gardens of Pognana Lario, Villa Làrio continues to embody the spirit of quiet luxury — a blend of contemporary design, warmth and understated elegance. Its culinary vision, under Chef Maci’s direction, celebrates the art of eating and drinking well, with seasonal menus and experiences such as the traditional “Pranzo della Domenica” (Sunday Lunch) and the creative offerings of the Palazzo Lounge Bar, curated by mixologist Raffaele Albanese.
With its latest Gambero Rosso honour, Villa Làrio firmly establishes itself as one of Lake Como’s most distinguished gastronomic and hospitality destinations.
