Taste of Italy: Streetfood Pop-Up Returns to Hilton Lake Como

Hilton Lake Como unveiled the return of its renowned summer pop-up, now in its fourth consecutive year, with a fresh concept. Teaming up with esteemed local partners, Streetfood invites guests to immerse themselves in authentic Italian social dining.

From now until October 15, 2024, both hotel guests and external visitors can indulge in an immersive and original culinary experience. Located in the charming outdoor area of the Taffeta restaurant, the pop-up offers a relaxed and sociable atmosphere to sample a variety of dishes from Italy’s rich culinary tradition.

Guests can choose from five stations, each evoking the spirit of a bustling marketplace:

Aperol Spritz Cart: Serving the classic Italian aperitif renowned for its vibrant orange hue and delightful bittersweet taste.

Iconic Ape Piaggio with Wood-fired Oven: Offering a variety of delicious pizzas, from classic to signature Hilton Lake Como creations, complete with an array of toppings.

BBQ Live Station: Delighting guests with freshly sourced local meats grilled outdoors in the style of an Ofyr barbecue.

Gelato Cart: In collaboration with the famous local artisanal gelateria, Gelateria Rossetti, serving up a selection of delightful gelato flavours.

Local Producers’ Showcase: Featuring rotating local producers presenting and selling their goods, including Rivo Gin distilled with botanicals from Lake Como, Birrificio Italiano, Azienda Agricola Collina D’Oro known for its saffron, Marco D’Oggiono’s premium aged hams, and Pastificio Baradello providing the corn flour for traditional Lombard polenta.

Streetfood welcomes visitors from Thursday to Monday, 6:00 PM to midnight, with extended hours throughout July and August, open every evening.
