Festa in Riva Returns in Cernobbio

One of Cernobbio’s best-loved summer traditions is back. Festa in Riva, organised by Canottieri Cernobbio 1901 with the patronage of the Municipality of Cernobbio, celebrates its 40th edition with a series of lakeside food evenings in Piazza Risorgimento.

Running across five weekends from 27 June to 26 July, the festival offers a different selection of regional specialities each weekend, alongside live atmosphere and stunning views over Lake Como.

2026 Programme:

27–28 June: Grilled tomino cheese, pizzoccheri and Würstel

4–5 July: Bresaola with sciatt, lasagne and grilled sausage

11–12 July: Braised sausage with polenta

18–19 July: Chicken arrosticini, lasagne and polenta

25–26 July: Grand finale and closing celebrations

Every evening, visitors can also enjoy a selection of favourites including pizzoccheri, meat lasagne, sausage or Würstel sandwiches, the Canottieri burger with chips, polenta served plain or with Gorgonzola or eggs, chips, and homemade cakes. Proceeds from the event help support the sporting activities of Canottieri Cernobbio 1901.
