The Palanzo hiking experience offers an opportunity to explore the enchanting village of Faggeto Lario, located approximately 600 metres above sea level. Hikers will navigate through narrow cobblestone streets and admire the traditional stone houses that define the character of this ancient village. The route culminates at the Church of Sant’Ambrogio, where visitors can appreciate the impressive bell tower that stands alongside the remnants of an ancient castle, creating a picturesque scene reflective of the area’s heritage.
Historic Grape Press: The hike includes a visit to the remarkable grape press located in a historic municipal building. This massive chestnut beam serves as a testament to the village’s agricultural history, believed to have been transported to the site before many of the surrounding homes were constructed.
