Ferrari 250 GT Spyder California Wins Coppa d’Oro Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este
The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, held on May 20, 2023, in Cernobbio, witnessed the declaration of the event’s most prestigious award. The highly coveted Coppa d’Oro Villa d’Este for 2023 was bestowed upon the remarkable Ferrari 250 GT Spyder California from 1961, proudly owned by Jonathan Hui of the Keybridge Collection in Hong Kong.
The 250 Series was pivotal in establishing Ferrari’s reputation, providing a sporty and economical foundation for the brand’s immense success. The 250 GT California Spyder is an absolute legend within this iconic series. Interestingly, its first owner was none other than the renowned French writer Françoise Sagan, who achieved legendary acclaim with her debut work, “Bonjour tristesse,” in 1954.
