Learn to Swim from Hayley Peirsol, a World Championships Medalist

Swimming is a great life skill and an excellent way to exercise and keep fit. It’s never too early to start swimming, and it’s never too late! Learn swimming this summer from Hayley Peirsol, a World Championships Medalist. Hayley offers swimming classes for all ages and abilities.

Whether if you’re interested in improving your technique or wanting to learn to swim for the first time, Hayley Peirsol has an individual approach for you. Lake Como couldn’t be a better place to support you in your water-related endeavours.

Hayley PeirsolHayley Peirsol was born in Newport Beach, California. She competed professionally for the United States in long-distance swimming and triathlon for nearly ten years.  Upon retiring from sports, Hayley became a Steineriana (a grades teacher in the Rudolf Steiner/Waldorf Schools).

In Lake Arenal, Costa Rica, with the community’s help, Hayley created a Steiner School and was there for three years. In Nosara, Costa Rica, Hayley also created beach camps, where she taught children about ocean safety and environmental awareness.

Hayley moved to Lake Como and has been giving swimming lessons (with 15 years of experience) to children and adults, and she also teaches yoga to children.

Classes are taught in English and Italian.

For Swimming:

Who: Hayley offers swimming lessons to ages 2 and up to both beginners and the elite

Rates: €50 per hour

Where: Lessons are taught in private and public pools as well as in the Lake
