Lake Como Carnival Ideas That Kids Will Adore

  • February 3, 2023

As every year, this period promises to be a spectacle. Join the festivities at the picturesque Villa Carlotta, where a collaboration with Grandi Giardini Italiani has birthed an eco-friendly twist to the traditional celebrations.

For a unique experience, explore the Carnival event in Bellagio or visit The Museum of Toy Horses (“Museo del Cavallo Giocattolo”) for a genuinely Masked Affair. Let Carnival on Lake Como enchant your family with these unique and unforgettable experiences.

Carnival at Villa Carlotta

This year, in a move towards sustainability, Villa Carlotta invites young guests to ditch traditional confetti for seed-filled creations. During the event, the little masked participants will play with “seed bombs” – a green solution encapsulated in a hands-on workshop. Armed with seeds, each child becomes a true nature superhero, fostering a deeper connection with the environment.

This grand celebration welcomes everyone – from the whimsical fairies and mysterious Wednesday Addams to the radiant princesses, energetic PJ Mask heroes, brave Harry Potter wizards, and fierce pirates. Parents and grandparents are also invited to partake in this delightful affair. Don’t forget to don your masks – the magic awaits!
