Tucked away in the peaceful lakeside village of Laglio, Da Luciano is one of those rare places that feel as though they’ve always been there — quietly holding the heart of the community. This small, family-run bottega sits right by the water, part deli, part wine shop, part gathering place for friends and neighbours. Inside, shelves are lined with bottles from local vineyards, wedges of mountain cheese, and neatly tied parcels of cured meats. The air hums with easy laughter, the soft clink of glasses, and the scent of good food and even better company.
Laglio itself is among Lake Como’s most tranquil corners — a place where the lake seems to move a little slower, and life follows suit. It’s here, in this gentle rhythm, that Da Luciano captures the essence of the region: simple pleasures, shared moments, and a deep respect for the craft of good living.
Beginning 30 October, Da Luciano will host a series of Thursday evening wine tastings, running until 27 November, each one dedicated to exploring a different corner of Italy’s winemaking landscape. Guests will be guided by professional sommeliers or the winemakers themselves, discovering new aromas, flavours and stories. Every glass will be paired with a small dish prepared especially for the evening — a thoughtful touch that reflects the bottega’s care and attention to detail.

13 November – An evening of Champagne
20 November – Among the vineyards of Oltrepò Pavese
27 November – Final night with Cantine Angelinetta from Domaso, right here on Lake Como
