Villa Fogazzaro Roi: Picnic in a Storybook Setting

On Friday 1st May 2026, Villa Fogazzaro Roi in Valsolda will open its doors for a special day of literature, heritage, and lakeside leisure. The historic residence, once home to writer Antonio Fogazzaro, offers a unique setting for guided tours enriched by readings from his celebrated novel Piccolo mondo antico.

The experience continues with a relaxed picnic in the villa’s garden, Orto di Franco, overlooking the calm waters of Lake Ceresio. With its literary echoes and sweeping lake views, the day promises a quiet blend of culture and springtime charm.

  • FAI members: €35
  • General admission: €40
  • Local residents: €35
  • Reduced (ages 6–18): €30

All tickets include a picnic basket (valued at €22).
