Villa Carlotta Slow… A Hidden Journey Through Art and Nature

  • November 30, 2025 10:30 - 12:00

A special event offering a rare opportunity to explore some of Villa Carlotta’s lesser-known spaces and discover the hidden heart of one of Lake Como’s most famous villas.

This guided tour reveals the villa’s secret corners and fascinating stories — from the underground passages, once the villa’s productive core, to the tunnels where Villa Carlotta’s precious citrus trees are carefully preserved during the colder months.

Participants will also learn about local collaborations and sustainable projects, including the vegetable gardens and olive groves managed by the social cooperative Azalea.

Through this evocative and engaging experience, visitors will discover that Villa Carlotta is not only a place of art and beauty, but also a living example of agricultural tradition and community connection — active and flourishing all year round.

An event organised in collaboration with Slow Lake Como.
