The Lake Como Design Festival returns for its seventh edition, taking place from 14th to 21st September 2025 across the city of Como and its stunning lakeside surroundings. This year’s theme, “Frammenti” (Fragments), invites visitors on an immersive journey through exhibitions and site-specific installations that explore the concept of fragmentation from a variety of perspectives.
Fragments are an intrinsic part of our reality. Whether stemming from the devastation of conflicts, the increasing frequency of natural disasters, or the social fragmentation born from individualism, our world often feels divided and scattered. Yet, within this fragmentation lies a paradoxical strength—a potential for rebellion against uniformity and an assertion of individuality and diversity.
The 2025 edition of the Lake Como Design Festival seeks to embrace fragmentation not as a loss, but as a fertile ground for regeneration and reconnection. Through creative expression, memory, and rediscovery, the festival reframes the notion of fragments as opportunities to piece together new narratives and explore innovative possibilities.
