From 9th to 20th July 2025, the LacMus Festival returns to the stunning shores of Lake Como, offering a world-class classical music experience in breathtaking historic venues. Co-founded by pianist Louis Lortie and conductor Paolo Bressan, this year’s edition promises an extraordinary lineup of internationally renowned artists, young talents, and innovative musical experiences. Concerts will take place in iconic locations such as Villa Carlotta, Villa del Balbianello, Isola Comacina, and the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine del Soccorso, creating an unforgettable blend of music, history, and nature.
LacMus Festival is more than a concert series—it is an immersive cultural event. Attendees can enjoy sunrise concerts with yoga and breakfast, wi-fi headphone performances, and multidisciplinary artistic experiences that celebrate the rich artistic heritage of Lake Como. The festival also emphasizes music education through its LacMus Educational initiative, inspiring the next generation of musicians.
Since its founding, LacMus has hosted illustrious artists like Ton Koopman, Emmanuel Pahud, Les Vents Français, Richard Galliano, Christiane Karg, and Sophie Koch, along with Milan’s Symphonic Orchestra Giuseppe Verdi. The festival’s commitment to artistic excellence and innovation has earned it international recognition, with support from the American Friends of LacMus Festival and partnerships with institutions such as the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
