The journey culminates with a visit to the greenhouses of Villa Carlotta built in the 1970s, which house an impressive array of botanical specimens. Divided into four distinct environments—the warm greenhouse, the large conservatory, the cool greenhouse, and the succulent plant house—these spaces provide a fascinating insight into the delicate art of preserving nature through the seasons.
