Modern art open-air exhibition: Il Viaggio del Rinoceronte e il Paradosso del Tempo
Modern art meets the lakeside streets of Cernobbio in this open-air exhibition by acclaimed sculptor Stefano Bombardieri. Discover monumental sculptures of animals—rhinoceroses, gorillas, elephants—placed dramatically throughout the town. These works explore themes of time, fragility, and surrealism, inviting visitors into a journey of reflection.
The main installations can be found along Via Regina, near the Comune, and across Piazza Risorgimento, where three key pieces are set in different corners of the square. An indoor component is also hosted at Galleria GALP.
Curated by Anna Lisa Ghirardi and promoted by Comune di Cernobbio in collaboration with GALP, the event transforms the town into a symbolic, walkable gallery.
